Coach Altman briefly retired from coaching to watch his daughter play collegiately before coming out of retirement to Oasis in 2023.  Coach Altman brings over 20 years of coaching experience which includes multiple sweet 16 final appearances in the FHSAA playoffs, as well as a State Runner-Up title when coaching at ECS in 2011.  Coach Altman has won Coach of the Year at USA South Volleyball, as well as multiple FACA Coach of the Year titles.  His proudest moments at Oasis include; his team receiving the state All-Academic award, SSAA 4a Championship, as well as having 4 Oasis volleyball athletes sign national letters of intent to play collegiately in just the last 2 years.  Coach believes in a family first mindset with the development of the big sister/little sister program with the Varsity and Junior Varsity program.
